The China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), also known as the Canton Fair, was founded in the spring of 1957 and is held biannually in Guangzhou. Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, and organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre, the Canton Fair is China's oldest, largest, most comprehensive international trade fair, boasting the widest range of goods, the largest number of buyers from the broadest geographical area, the best transaction results, and the highest reputation.
